Sibylle, founder of The Tiny Factory
Whether hip hop, jazz or blues, music accompanies granola production at The Tiny Factory. It should not only be crispy, healthy and organic, but also a lot of fun. A team of 8 women is behind The Tiny Factory, the granola roastery in Zurich run by Sibylle and founded in 2016.
Sibylle discovered Granola in San Francisco, a city she loves as much as her crunchy nut mix. Back in Zurich, she took the granola with her, with the aim of producing a high-quality product along the traditions of Swiss craftsmanship. Oatmeal, maple syrup for sweetness and quite a lot of nut, is supplemented with dried berries and chocolate, depending on the variant. All organic and vegan of course.
Recently, The Tiny Factory team moved to their new manufactory in the SBB Werkstadt in Zurich Altstetten. There they also work with the Sintegra and Profit foundations to integrate people into the production processes who have taken new courage to re-enter the labor market.
Content Workshop Granola Roasting
Your next breakfast will be quite crunchy – with granola you’ll make during this class.
Right at the beginning of the Workshop Granola Roasting, you’ll put on an apron and be introduced to the world of granola and its high-quality ingredients by The Tiny Factory team. Then it’s time to combine, mix and roast. You explore the different ingredients and products with your hand and palate under expert guidance. When the work is done, you will package and label the granola nicely.
At the end you can taste from your creations with some Greek Yogurt or Porridge. Of course, with 1.2 kg you will take home lots of granola in beautiful packaging – to give as a gift or eat yourself!
