Tamara Aharon, jewelry designer
With her love for crafts and design, Tamara has always felt the desire to express herself through shapes, colors and textures and to create beautiful things. With jewelry, she has found the right element to realize her visions.
Inspired by classic designs, she reinvents them time and again, sticking to simple and minimalist forms. Since 2016, the self-taught designer has been making her own jewelry with great dedication in her studio in Zurich, under the label Molokai.
Content jewelry workshop
The jewelry workshop not only offers you the opportunity to create your own personal silver ring using the lost wax technique, but also gives you a fascinating insight into the art of jewelry design.
Tamara will show you the different materials, techniques and tools before you can get to work yourself. You will carefully carve and file a wax model until it takes on exactly the shape you want. As soon as your creation meets your highest expectations, the ring is cast in the alloy of your choice.
After the workshop, you won’t be able to show off your ring to your friends straight away. Good things take time. Tamara will give your ring the necessary finishing touches and polish and then send your creation to your home by post.
